UPTOWN is a hospitality sector startup which is a stark deviation from the unorganised sector of PG and rented house facilities operated by individuals that provide inadequate amenities and care. Uptown Jonali campus was the first premises of Uptown which was opened for public on 1st July 2021. It is 52 seater premium accommodation facility for girl students and working women. It has more than 25 amenities including mobile app based operations, dedicated maintenance team, AC lounge and Gym, AC dining cafeteria, chill out lounges on each floor, 24x7 doctor on call, free WiFi, all-day housekeeping, iron and ironing table, electric kettle, refrigerator, power back-up, excellent three times meals and evening milk/tea with biscuit, etc. Today, Uptown is the Northeast India's largest premium smart hostel brand with more than 300 seats across 5 campuses. It is recognised by top-most institutes of Northeast and MSME & DPIIT, Govt. of India. It has won two national level awards of excellence in the field of hospitality.

Property Rules

The campus is a no smoking no drinking area. Alcoholic drinks, cigarettes, gutkha, narcotics and any type of intoxicants are strictly prohibitted inside the campus. Anyone found consuming such items within the campus will be fined and repeated defaulters will be rusticated. We provide plates for meals, however the boarder may carry their own spoons, forks and glass. The gate closes at 9PM but one is allowed to enter till 11PM on prior request. The boarder shall have to inform the Warden if she is getting delayed due to unavoidable reasons. The notice of vacating the campus should be provided by 2nd of any month for vacating by the last date of the same month. Such notice shall not be permitted on or after 3rd. Refundable Security Deposit is refunded by around 45 days after last date of the month of vacating. Security Deposit will not be refunded if the notice of vacating the premises is not provided by 2nd of the month.
